In 1981 Superior Walls of America, Ltd. was founded by a Lancaster County home builder by the name of Mel Zimmerman after he had spent years of research and development on a precast foundation system. The system was designed to eliminate age-old problems of home building while providing a quick and easy way to build better foundations that remained dry and comfortable regardless of climate or location.
In 1986 Superior Walls of America established it's first licensed franchise operation, and has since grown to a total of 22 manufacturing centers across the United States. Today their corporate headquarters is located in New Holland Pennsylvania where Founder and CEO Zimmerman is helping his company grow exponentially while continuing to oversee dramatic improvements in residential, commercial and industrial construction methods. In 2000 a franchise for South Jersey was awarded. The vision was to create a presence for foundation manufacturing and pre-constructed exterior walls in the South Jersey area using a state of the art technique and unmatched quality found no where else in the industry. In the beginning the walls came from a Pennsylvania manufacturing franchise and were hauled to New Jersey for installation.
Then in 2003 a new wall manufacturing facility and concrete batch plant was built at 92 Reese Road, in Millville, NJ. Additions to the building followed in 2004 and 2005 as sales volume doubled each year.
